Winter Birds of Bosque del Apache Photography Workshop Giveaway
Official Terms and Conditions

1. Sponsor
This giveaway is sponsored and the prize is provided by Muench Workshops ("Sponsor"), in partnership with Beyond the Lens with Richard Bernabe.

2. Eligibility
This giveaway is open to individuals worldwide who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, except residents of Quebec, Canada, and Rhode Island, USA, and except where this giveaway is otherwise prohibited or restricted by law. It is the responsibility of each entrant to determine whether they are eligible to participate under the laws of their country, state, or province of residence. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Muench Workshops and Beyond the Lens with Richard Bernabe are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry Period
The giveaway begins upon posting and closes on September 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time ("Entry Period"). Entries received after the Entry Period closes will not be considered.

4. How to Enter
To enter, visit https://muenchworkshops.com/beyond-the-lens-workshop-giveaway and submit the required information, including a valid email address. Limit one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person, automated entries, or entries from third-party entry services will be disqualified.

5. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

6. Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on or around November 8, 2026, and the winner will be notified by email within 3 business days. The winner will be required to confirm acceptance within 7 days of notification. If the winner cannot be reached or does not respond within this window, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.

7. The Prize
One winner will receive a complimentary spot in the Winter Birds of Bosque del Apache Photography Workshop, hosted by Muench Workshops and led by Richard Bernabe and Pam Dorner (the "Workshop"), taking place January 14-17, 2027, in New Mexico.

The prize includes double occupancy lodging for the duration of the Workshop (single occupancy available for a $385 supplement, paid by winner), all meals, soft drinks, and snacks during the Workshop, all permits and park fees, all transportation during the Workshop, tips for crew, drivers, and local guides, photographic guiding and instruction from Richard Bernabe and Pam Dorner, and multiple image reviews and post-processing sessions.

The prize does not include travel to and from Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), Albuquerque, New Mexico, unscheduled airport transfers, passport and visa fees if applicable, any meals or accommodations outside the official Workshop dates, items of a personal nature, alcoholic beverages, travel medical and trip cancellation insurance (optional, but recommended), or anything not specifically listed as included above.

Approximate retail value of the prize: $4,495, based on standard tuition for the Workshop. Actual value may vary.

Acceptance of the prize is also contingent upon the winner's agreement to Muench Workshops' standard Terms and Conditions governing workshop participation, available at https://muenchworkshops.com/terms-conditions/, including but not limited to eligibility requirements, liability waivers, health and fitness requirements, and cancellation policies. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and Muench Workshops' standard Terms and Conditions, the standard Terms and Conditions will govern matters relating to workshop participation, and these Terms and Conditions will govern matters relating to the giveaway itself.

8. Prize Conditions
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the Workshop is cancelled, sold out, or otherwise unavailable for any reason prior to the winner's attendance, Muench Workshops may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance of the prize. If the winner is unable to attend the specific Workshop dates listed, the prize value may, at Muench Workshops' discretion, be applied as a credit toward tuition for another workshop taking place in 2027. The credit must be used by December 31, 2027, for a workshop in 2027, after which it expires and is forfeited. If the credit is applied toward a workshop priced lower than the original prize value, any remaining balance is forfeited and will not be refunded or carried forward. If the credit is applied toward a workshop priced higher than the original prize value, the winner is responsible for paying the difference in full at the time of booking.

9. Use of Winner's Information
By participating, entrants agree that Muench Workshops and Beyond the Lens with Richard Bernabe may use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes related to this giveaway, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

10. Publicity Release
Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Muench Workshops and Beyond the Lens with Richard Bernabe to use the winner's name and general location (city, state, or country) for promotional purposes related to this giveaway, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

11. Privacy
Personal information collected during entry will be used in accordance with the Muench Workshops Privacy and Cookie Policy, available at https://muenchworkshops.com/privacy-and-cookies/. By entering, you will be added to the Muench Workshops email list and agree to receive email communications, including future workshop announcements. You may unsubscribe at any time.

12. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Muench Workshops, Richard Bernabe, Pam Dorner, Beyond the Lens with Richard Bernabe, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, or damage arising from participation in this giveaway or use of the prize. To the extent the winner attends the Workshop, the limitation of liability, assumption of risk, and arbitration provisions set forth in Muench Workshops' standard Terms and Conditions, available at https://muenchworkshops.com/terms-conditions/, including the liability cap described therein, govern all matters relating to workshop participation and supersede this section for those matters.

13. General Conditions
Muench Workshops reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this giveaway, or these Terms and Conditions, at any time without prior notice, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the giveaway. Sponsor's decisions are final in all matters relating to this giveaway.

14. Governing Law
This giveaway and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
