Marc Muench is a professional landscape and wildlife photographer carrying forward a three-generation legacy—son of David Muench and grandson of Josef Muench. Raised in the field while traveling through America’s national parks and wild places, he has spent a lifetime chasing composition, light, and decisive moments. Marc’s work often centers on the power of undeveloped landscapes, with commercial assignments in the 1990s for agencies including Chiat/Day and McCann, and features in publications such as National Geographic, Outside, and Arizona Highways. Today, his focus is teaching photographers how to see and work with light through workshops and publications, including The Art of Seeing and The Art of Luminosity.
