Washington state is a paradise for photographers. The heavily-forested peaks of the Cascade and Olympic mountains provide a wonderful backdrop for all manner of photogenic scenes.
Within its boundaries are the temperate rain forests of Olympic National Park, the dramatic sea stacks along the Pacific Ocean, and glaciated volcanic peaks like Mt. Rainier. On the eastern side of the state, there is the mighty Columbia River Gorge and the rolling hills of the Palouse.
