Beautiful Victoria Falls and Wildlife in Hwange National Park

Designed as an extension to our Botswana Safari Adventure. Join us as we fly by short charter flight from The Okavango Delta to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We will spend two days and nights here, exploring the beauty of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. We stay un luxury at The Ilala Lodge Hotel, in amazing comfort and with so many activities close at hand.

After two days at the Falls, we'll again board our private charter aircraft and take a short flight from Victoria Falls into Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park, where we'll stay for three nights at Little Makalolo Lodge. Here we'll have three more days photographing some of Africa's best wildlife in yet another new surrounding. Hwange is the largest natural reserve in Zimbabwe, and is home to over 100 mammal and 400 bird species. We hope to be fortunate to see and photograph African wild dogs, as they are found here. We will find and photograph elephant, big and small cats, eland, buffalo, giraffe, sable, waterbuck, reedbuck, and many more animals. Of course we'll feature plenty of personal instruction, guiding, and image reviews each day! Our camp overlooks a vibrant waterhole and there is a seemingly endless parade of animal visitors throughout the day! We have the opportunity to have game drives in safari vehicles as well as the unique and rare thrill of a walking safari.

A great way to end our African adventure!

The Muench Workshops safari significantly exceeded my expectations. Phenomenal wildlife—much more abundant, much closer interaction, many more photographic opportunities than I could have ever imagined. My highest recommendation!

June 22–24: We have two nights at Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls. Excursions available include high-adrenalin activities like bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge and white-water rafting down the Zambezi River, to more relaxed pastimes like Ra-Ikane river cruises, or fishing. There is something for everyone. There is also the option for scenic flights and general sightseeing. And there's nothing wrong with taking a day off and relaxing by the pool, getting a massage, or simply doing nothing!

June 24, 2018: We'll fly by private air charter from Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park.

June 24-27, 2018: We'll be at Little Makalolo, one of Hwange's premier camp destinations. Why? The quality of the wildlife photography, the privacy, and the exclusivity. After our "days off" in Victoria Falls, we'll get right back into the safari routine of game drives early in the morning, at sweet light in the later afternoon, and even in the evenings, if we wish. Accommodations are beautiful permanent tents, each with ensuite facilities. Common areas include lounge, dining area, and swimming pool.

June 27, 2018: After our morning game drive and breakfast, we'll pack up and take a short charter flight back to Victoria Falls, where your homeward journey can begin with flights anytime after 1:00 PM.
