A California native with a lifelong spark for adventure, Sara is passionate about the stories we create and the unforgettable experiences we share while exploring the world. Sara and her husband, Luke Dray, joined Muench Workshops as Partners in 2025. Sara brings with her a wealth of experience from a career spanning management consulting to scaling social enterprises in East Africa.
While not a photographer herself, Sara has always been drawn to photography’s transformative power. For her, photography is a way which we can slow down, appreciate the beauty of unique places, and deepen our connections with the world around us.
Sara’s professional journey is grounded in building high-performing teams and operational systems that deliver exceptional customer experiences. After beginning her career as a management consultant at Deloitte, she transitioned to leading the multi-country growth of Hatch Africa, a social enterprise operating in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast that combats malnutrition and poverty by working with more than 4 million smallholder farmers to produce and distribute more than 50 million improved breed day-old chicks annually.
