Cody was born and raised under the bright Californian sun, but the last decade of his life has often seen him traveling to the rugged lands of northern Europe, where he’s inspired by the mixture of landscape, weather, history, and culture. Now living in Lofoten, Norway, he focuses on long-term photography projects and has become an expert on all things in the north!
Beyond photography, writing about the places he visits has taken a greater role in his life, with two guidebooks to Norway’s Lofoten Islands and several magazine articles.
His photos and articles have been published throughout the world in magazines, catalogs, calendars, newspapers, travel guides, brochures, websites, etc., including National Geographic Traveler, Sunset Magazine, Lonely Planet Traveller, Men’s Journal, BBC Country File, GEO Saison, British Airways High Life, X Journey, and more.
