Shoot Beautiful Landscapes Downeast

UPDATE: As of January 17, 2017, this workshop is sold out. Please contact us to be placed on the waiting list in case of any cancelations. Also don't forget to check out our other workshops, thanks!

As the first National Park east of the Mississippi, Acadia National Park’s rugged coast, impressive vistas, beautiful Lighthouses, and working fishing villages have long attracted visitors from all over the globe.

In true fashion to all of our workshops, this Acadia experience will take you to places most other workshops don’t even know about. Yes, we will visit some of the most iconic locations, but you will also get to see side of Acadia that only the locals know. Shooting will be limited to when the light is sweet, which means just mornings and late afternoons.

To complement the photography, we will spend the time doing some intensive Lightroom instruction. During the Lightroom sessions we will work with the images you have been making throughout the workshop while you get the learn how to get the most out of Lightroom.

We have chosen these dates very carefully to not only maximize our chances that the fall colors will be at their best, but also to avoid the heavy tourist season. We’ve limited the number of participants in order to keep the group small and intimate. The workshop is limited to eight participants. You can expect instruction on shooting techniques such as HDR, Panoramas, black and white, and more. If the skies are clear at night, we’ll shoot the stars!

We will be staying in Bar Harbor, giving us access to some of the best food in Maine. The waterfront is just a short walk away.

Juan is the best Lightroom teacher I have ever had. Very good instruction in the field too. Juan is very knowledgeable. I would definitely take another workshop led by Juan. The quality of the teaching as well as the organization made this workshop a pleasure to attend!
